My family used to go to this drive in when I was a kid. The last movie that I remember seeing there was The Empire Strikes Back. I find it sad to see a piece of my childhood surrendering to the weeds. Though there is barely even any of the red, yellow and blue pant left – the sign still blazes in all it’s neon glory in my memory.

This blue LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana was on display in town during the summer of 2009 while the Farnsworth Art Museum hosted: Robert Indiana and the Star of Hope.
