Ken’s Sporting Goods was founded in 1931. As we cruised in to town on our bikes, their great fish-shaped neon was irresistible!

The Hi-Lo Cafe sits in the shadow of Mount Shasta in the town of Weed, California. Surely the town must have a constant battle of keeping their town name signs out of the hands of giggling teenagers. We passed through on our motorcycles in June of 2008.
