Heading towards Ocean City, this rooftop chicken came into view. Somewhere, someone is cornering the market of making fiberglass chickens because this appears to be similar if not the same style as the one spotted at Martha’s Dandee Cream near Lake George and also atop Del Buono’s Bakery in New Jersey.

Driving towards Ocean City’s Pirate Muffler Man we spotted the giant margarita along the way. Perfect for relaxing after a tough day at work.

Tipped off to his existence by Wendyvee at RoadsideWonders, Kenny and I stopped off at the big golden Buddha on our way to visit the Desert Storm Muffler Man. He was his usual happy self even though his hindquarters was surrounded by February snow.

We stopped in to see Lucy one night on our way back to New York. She stood quiet and alone in the February chill. She was one of the the sights on my To-Do List of 2010 and although we didn’t get the opportunity to go inside, I’m glad we visited.
Lucy has a long history – you can read about here on LucytheElephant.org or Wikipedia’s Lucy the Elephant page.
