Opened 1962. After an uncertain future, the Market Diner reopened in 2008 with a newly renovated facade. Gone is the beautiful vintage neon captured in these photos.

The first Muffler Man I photographed was back in March of 2007 while on a cold motorcycle ride around the Mohawk Trail in Massachusetts. Now I never leave home on a trip without first checking to see if I’ll be near one. There are only so many left and I want t see them all!
So far we’ve seen Muffler Men in: California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia

In May of 2005 we stopped in to Wall Drug Store while on a motorcycle road trip. After seeing the billboard signs along I-90, we could hardly wait to get there. Wall Drug was a feast for the eyes and the imagination. It was a crazy kitschy. Loved it!
