This is fiberglass rooster number 4! I stumbled across this rooster tonight quite unexpectedly. It appears to be the same as the other 3 noted in the Del Buono’s Bakery post. Who makes these chickens?!?!

Sure cement lions have graced the gates of many swanky homes for centuries. But, Thurston and Muffy would probably flip their wigs if they pulled up to their gate to find these two characters watching over their estate. I hope this is a sign of a new trend. Punk rock lions = WIN.

The Dover International Speedway Monster Monument at Victory Plaza is the home of Miles. He stands 46 feet tall and weighs in at a whopping 40,000 lbs.

Tipped off to his existence by Wendyvee at RoadsideWonders, Kenny and I stopped off at the big golden Buddha on our way to visit the Desert Storm Muffler Man. He was his usual happy self even though his hindquarters was surrounded by February snow.

I’ve read several sights claiming this to be the world’s tallest Indian. The Skowhegan Indian stands at a height of 62 feet. Made of wood, he stands watch over the town. Created by sculptor Bernard Langlais.

Nipper sits on top of the Arnoff Moving Company building. This giant pup has been perched atop the roof since the mid 1950′s.
