Big Food: Long Island Rooftop Pumpkin
9 Feb 2010Location: Olde Town Gardens 360 Old Town Road East Setauket, NY Photos Taken: November 2002 This 4 or 5 foot pumpkin complete with skeleton used to sit on the roof of Olde Towne Gardens. I have not seen it make an appearance in the last few years.

Location: Route 25 Jamesport NY Photos Taken: December 2009 It isn’t always on display but I was lucky enough to snag a photo of Long Island’s giant cauliflower at one of the farms in Jamesport in December of 2009.
