Woohoo! Hampton Hotels’ Save-A-Landmark® Program

In: Roadside Stuff

Recently while in Alabama, we stayed at a Hampton Inn hotel. When we stepped into the elevator we saw a familiar sight from here at home on Long Island – The Big Duck:

Hampton Landmarks Sign

The sign reads:

“duck…duck…goose
Landmark 021: The Big Duck, Flanders, New York. This is one of the many landmarks refurbished by the Hampton Hotels’ Save-A-Landmark® program. To learn more please visit: www.hamptonlandmarks.com

How great! My new favorite hotel chain!

I was thrilled to see these at the Hampton Inn that Retro Roadhusband and I stayed at near Jim Thorpe PA a couple of years ago. Kinda took the sting out of staying in a chain hotel- but then again someone else was paying, so I shouldn’t mind :-)
