I love all the great 1950′s stuff on the Trail. The Big Indian, for sure. I still miss the “plastic bison” that used to be out on the Trail at the Mohawk Trading Post. Be sure to also visit the Outpost (more near Greenfield) for excellent quality sheepskin and deerskin items.

I’ve never stopped at the Outpost. I guess I’ll just have to do that. Hopefully there will be some new photos from the area this spring and summer.

Just east of there is the town of Shelburne Falls, do stop there to take a peek around. There is a flower bridge that is lovely when in bloom.
