The peeling paint and battered remains of what is the Angus Motel sign stand just a mile or so down the road from one of Georgia’s only Muffler Men. A 1 star motel with a 2.5 star sign.

Every time I see one of these vintage motel signs . . . I wish I had a time machine so that I could randomly jump around the years to see what sad, happy, weird, mundane things have happened there.
