Hi Susan Isn’t it just great? Apparently there was a “twin” station in Neptune NJ at one time. http://www.agilitynut.com/gas/padeco.html

One thing I’m curious about – I didn’t venture in to the restrooms while we were there and now I wish i did. Are they wonderfully preserved? Someone must know!

I just saw this the other day while visiting Bedford Springs Resort. I took a few photos and am glad that I did. What fun to be able to pump your gas at such a cute little station! So glad they preserved it.

Isn’t it gorgeous, Ron? I saw a link somewhere to a sister station in New Jersey. Sadly that is no longer standing.

I love that darned cawfee pot! That was the reason I was in Bedford. Dunkle’s was icing on the cake.

Truly one of the great remaining Gulf stations in the world! And only a mile or some from the repositioned “Coffee Pot.” Amazing how well the modern pumps actually fit in with the deco scheme…
